Armani Teams up With Reebok to Bring You a New Duel Sports Collection

Thursday, July 22nd, 2010

Italian designer Giorgio Armani has always been associated with a clean, sporty vibe. Imagine the golden tanned and well toned Jennifer Aniston strut her stuff down countless red carpets in those sinewy sheaths that we’re created by the famous Italian designer we all know and love.

Giorgio Armani is turning very athletic now that their lower priced collection Emporio Armani has teamed up with Reebok, who are said to be one of the most iconic sportswear brands in the world.

Expected to launch in August, the Reebok and Armani collaboration will be available to buy of the shelf in all Emporio Armani stores and from Reebok.com. The new range is expected to include two different collections: Reebok x Emporio Armani will include the eye catching futuristic athletic shoes which will be available in four different styles. Prices are expected to range from £180-£295 – The new Reebox X E A 7 will offer a range of snazzy active wear in a choice of two distinct styles, expect to pay £100 – £120 for shoes and £45 – £150 for apparel.

The new collections will bring you a super stylish and futuristic product which will be available to both genders – fussing Reeboks state of the art athletic technology and Armani’s oft-minimalistic aesthetics, the resulting pieces are workout clothes for discerning dressers. Some of the new pieces stand out from the rest and will include pegged “sweatpants” that drape around your calves, a Kimono-wrapped hoodie jacket and the futuristic, spacey black trainers featuring exposed “shocks” on the heals.

In a recent news release Giorgio Armani stated “Today sportswear and active wear have become really important parts of our wardrobes”

“My new alliance with Reebok is a natural consequence of this philosophy.” That much is clear!
