While waiting to know who will replace Craig, it should be remembered that Evans has been added to the cast of the upcoming live action Pinocchio.

During an interview with Collider, he fueled our expectations for the film, saying the new version will be unlike anything we’ve seen.

“I have always loved ‘Pinocchio’. It’s a timeless story. It’s a very old fairy tale or a fable, whatever you want to call it. It contains powerful and complex messages in the stories, many of which relate to young people and children. I don’t think it will be like any other iteration we’ve seen before. I’m really excited to be a part of it. I am honored that Disney chose me to play another villain in their world. I am surrounded by very talented people, including Mr. [Tom] Hanks. It’s a joy to think that I’m in a movie with this legend. It will be Disney’s best live action.

Evans is no stranger to the Casa Mouse pantheon, having brought Gastão to life in the live-action “Beauty and the Beast”.

In “ Pinocchio ” he will bring to life the coachman, a character responsible for attracting children to Ilha dos Prazeres, with the promise to leave them free from their parents and their chores – and where they are turned into donkeys and sold. as slaves in market.

Keep in mind that the live action will be directed by Robert Zemeckis and will bring Tom Hanks as the iconic carpenter Gepetto.

The film will be released directly on Disney +.
