“A Classic Horror Story”: Netflix’s Italian Horror Wins FREAKING Trailer; Check!

Netflix has released the long-awaited full Italian horror trailer titled “A Classic Horror Story”, containing references to former Italian horror masters such as Dario Argento (“Suspiria”) and Mario Bava ( “Diabolik”).

Starring Matilda Lutz (‘The Call 3’), the accompanying plot shows five travelers sharing a motorhome ride to reach a common destination. During the trip, they find themselves in accidents when trying to avoid the carcass of a dead animal on the road.

Upon regaining consciousness, they find themselves in the middle of nowhere. The road they were traveling on disappears and there is only a dense and impenetrable forest and a wooden house in the middle of a clearing, where a macabre cult takes place.

Set for a July 14 release, the film is directed by Roberto De Feo (“The Nest”) and Paolo Strippoli, making his feature debut.

Besides Lutz, the cast includes Francesco Russo, Peppino Mazzotta, Yulia Sobol, Will Merrick, Alida Baldari Calabria and Cristina Donadio.
