After ‘Godzilla vs Kong’ success, MonsterVerse set to win new movies

“Godzilla vs. Kong” has become a box office phenomenon and is approaching $ 360 million worldwide.

In a recent interview with Deadline, Josh Grode – the CEO of Legendary Entertainment – revealed that he is already planning new MonsterVerse sequels.

“We have a number of ideas for more movies after Godzilla vs. Kong,” he said.

“Godzilla vs. Kong” received 75% approval on Rotten Tomatoes.

The first film in the saga, “Godzilla” (2014), is the highest rated – with 76% approval.

Tied with “ Godzilla vs Kong, ” comes “ Kong: Skull Island ” (2017) – with 75% approval.

Finally, and with the worst rating, comes “ Godzilla II: King of the Monsters ” (2019), with just 42%.

In Brazil, there are still no plans to reopen theaters, but the film is scheduled to open on April 29.

Directed by Adam Wingard (‘You’re Next’), the feature film will continue the events of ‘Godzilla II: King of the Monsters’ and ‘Kong: Skull Island’.
