After years of campaigning, Zack Snyder’s Justice League has finally arrived. And the film pleased both critics and fans alike, which made the director happy.

After saying he didn’t want to direct a superhero movie anymore, Snyder has now changed his mind.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Snyder admits he never dreamed that Warner would return to complete the story he originally intended to tell.

So now he’s hoping the studio will bring him back to “Justice League 2.”

“I always think about what is most likely. I never imagined that Warner Bros. asked me to do a sequel for Justice League. Or that they resurrect a three-year-old movie, spend millions of dollars to bring it back to mine. [visão] original, and then launch it. I think the sequel would have been a more likely scenario than what just happened. So I think with that in mind I want to see what the future holds, ”he said.

Earlier this week, Snyder revealed what his plans for a sequel would be. The film would follow the events after the Knightmare sequence, where Superman (Henry Cavill) falls victim to Darkseid’s anti-life equation.

“The footage would show the fall of Earth, when Superman succumbs to the anti-life. And then they send Flash back in time to change something so that doesn’t happen. And then there is the great battle in which we defeated him. When [o vilão] Darkseid arrives on Earth in the sequence, all the armies on Earth unite again, as they did before. There were two possibilities, one of which, Flash is sent too early [como vimos em ‘Batman v Superman‘], on the other hand, it would be sent at the right time, ”Snyder told The New York Times.

For those who don’t remember, The Flash appears in a Bruce Wayne nightmare and the scene indicates that the sprinter has gone back in time to alert the billionaire of a possible threat, but it was never explained.

The filmmaker also explained the meaning of the Flash phrase, which mentions Lois Lane as a kind of “ key ” …

“When The Flash is sent to this new timeline, it draws closer to a time closer to the future that it was trying to prevent… In that future, Lois Lane is killed, and she was the only one capable of reclaiming human nature. of Superman. With Lois safe, the group would have a chance to reverse Darkseid’s hold on Superman.

It should be noted that Snyder indicated the possibility of a child between Clark Kent and Lois Lane in the new version of “Justice League”. Plus, the film’s new cut brings a much more palpable conclusion to the relationship between Bruce and Clark, who end up becoming great friends.
