‘Ambulance’: Yahya Abdul-Mateen II joins new Michael Bay action thriller

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II was listed in Michael Bay’s latest film, “ Ambulance, ” a remake of the Danish film of the same name released in 2005.

The actor, who recently starred in the powerful drama “Chicago 7” and the Emmy-winning series “Watchmen”, joins Jake Gyllenhaal and Eiza González.

The story mixes up 1990s classics like ‘Maximum Speed’ and ‘Bad Boys’ and acts like an action thriller about thieves stealing an ambulance to escape the crime scene – realizing too late that there is a sick patient in the back.

Abdul-Mateen II and Gyllenhaal will play the antagonists, while González will give life to a paramedic who is drawn into this troubled struggle for life or death. It is not known who will give life to the patient.

Chris Fedak (“Prodigal Son”) is responsible for the screenplay, which will be based on an eponymous Danish film.
