Last week, rumors emerged that Marvel was interested in bringing Chris Evans back as Captain America to the MCU.
However, none of this has been confirmed by the studio.
Even so, Anthony Mackie was asked what he thought of the matter, as he was given the Captain’s Shield in ‘Avengers: Endgame’ and had to don the hero’s mantle in ‘Hawk and the Winter Soldier ”.
During an interview for the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Mackie said he wouldn’t mind having to return the shield to Evans.
“I have heard of these rumors. Wants to know? Chris is my boy, so if they call him back I would be very happy. I don’t know anything officially, but I’d be happy to return the shield to you.

Remembering that Steve Rogers came out aged at the end of “ Avengers: Endgame, ” and fans are already speculating on how his return might be.
Steve Rogers may appear again in a movie in the past, or even in its older version, visiting his friends in the second season of the “Falcon and the Winter Soldier” series.
Another possibility is the secret project that Marvel Studios will launch in 2022, between the premieres of the ‘Black Panther 2’ and ‘Captain Marvel 2’ sequences.
Over the years, Captain America has grown in popularity and has become one of the favorite heroes of childish audiences due to Evans’ playfulness and charisma.
Meanwhile, “ Hawk and the Winter Soldier ” is set to debut March 19 at Disney +.
