‘Aquaman 2’: Amber Heard’s resigning petition surpasses 1.6 million signatures

After Johnny Depp was fired from the ‘Fantastic Beasts’ franchise for the legal controversy involving his ex-girlfriend Amber Heard, fans of the star are demanding that she be fired from the ‘Aquaman’ sequel.

For those who don’t know, Depp was fired after losing the lawsuit in which he was charged with physical and psychological assault against Heard.

However, Aquaman fans have confirmed that she admitted in an audio leak that she attacked Depp.

For this reason, one of them created a petition demanding that Heard be replaced as Mera’s performer in ‘Aquaman 2’.

To date, the document posted on Change.org has exceeded 1.6 million signatures.

On the other hand, Amber doesn’t seem worried. A few months ago, the actress mocked Depp fans by sharing a photo with the following caption:

“So much shade, so little time …”

It is worth remembering that, despite rumors, the actress should live in Mera next.

According to the owner of Heroic Hollywood, journalist Umberto Gonzalez, Warner has no plans to postpone the actress.

“No, Amber Heard was not fired from AQUAMAN 2,” the reporter said.

The sequel is slated for release in December 2022.

Released in 2018, “ Aquaman ” grossed $ 1.148 billion worldwide, making it one of DC’s biggest financial hits in partnership with Warner Bros.
