In addition, the image says that the protagonist Barbara Gordon (Leslie Grace) will be a police officer in the plot.

To verify:

Previously, El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, who also direct the feature film, revealed that the upcoming project has added another member to their team.

The duo have confirmed that John Mathieson, known for his work on works such as “Gladiator” and “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” will be DC’s cinematographer.

In addition to Grace, iconic actor Brendan Fraser (“The Mummy”, “The Patrol of Fate”) will play the antagonist Firefley (Firefly).

For those unfamiliar with him, Firefly made his comic book debut in Detective Comics # 184 in June 1952, and was reinvented decades later as a sociopathic arsonist with an obsessive compulsion to start fires.

In addition, it is also equipped with a suit containing a heavy arsenal of firearms, including flamethrowers, grenades, napalm and smoke bombs, as well as a superheated plasma blade for close combat.

JK Simmons (curator James Gordon) and Jacob Scipio (undisclosed paper) will also be part of the production.

Recalling that the first concept image for the film was released during the DC FanDome.

To verify:

Previously, Grace had revealed a bit of the plot of the film.

“Barbara is someone who has been underestimated even by her own father. And, like the youngest daughter, you are sometimes cut off from all the difficult things in life, so she is anxious to prove to herself and to everyone that there are things she can handle on her own.

She went on to compare herself to the character:

“In the research I did for the pre-production, I learned a lot about Barbara who connects me to her. I identified with her a lot because this is only my second acting job and I feel like I’m proving to myself what barriers I can break, what limits I can push and I’m thrilled embody all that anxiety, stubbornness and determination that make Barbara’s character.

Finally, she commented on her reaction upon finding out that she had been chosen.

“Oh man! It was a shock, it was very crazy. I passed the tests and it was mind-blowing, but deep down you never expect it. I found out through Zoom, because the makers made a surprise and everything. I thought I would do one more test and it’s still mind blowing to think about it. They made me read an email and it said, “I’m Batgirl.” I just kept shaking without realizing what was going on. It was wonderful and this role will be a blessing in my career.
