‘Better Call Saul’: series creator confirms season 6 filming start date and finale

After filming for the 6th and final season of ‘Better Call Saul’ was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, production finally appears to be picking up its pace, with the start of filming confirmed by co-creator Peter Gould .

In an interview with the Deadline portal, the producer also gave details about the production of the closing cycle, sharing that the scripts are almost done:

“Our ardent desire is to tour early next year. Now when you see the series it will depend on the destination, AMC and Sony. Since then, we have been meeting every day at Zoom. It’s like trying to dance on quicksand. It’s a disadvantage for me to work remotely, but I like what we’re going to do, it will only take a little longer. Now that we are well advanced in the season, I must say that I am very excited about the path we are taking ”.

While there is still no official release date, it is expected that the 6th and final season of “ Better Call Saul ” will release in the second half of 2021, throughout the North Fall. American (between September and December).

“Better Call Saul” is a prequel to the critically acclaimed and award-winning “Breaking Bad” series, in which creator Vince Gilligan and writer / producer Peter Gould co-host the first season.
