“ Birds of Prey ” is selected in TWO categories at the 2021 Oscar

“Aves de Rapina” received a strong reception from specialist critics and made history in DC adaptations by bringing the first group of anti-heroines to screen.

And the film can be recognized at the Oscars.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has announced its shortlist for nine categories for the 93rd Oscar.

“Birds of Prey” will advance to the next round of nominations in two categories – Makeup & Hairstyle and Best Visual Effects.

While that doesn’t necessarily mean the film will be nominated in these categories, the inclusion is certainly a pleasant surprise.

Despite the box office failure, which reached just under $ 202 million, the feature fell into popular taste and, on its first anniversary, led fans to celebrate the work on social networks.
