Black Adam and Superman will they face in the cinema? The producer responds!

It’s nothing new that comic book fans yearn for a duel between Black Adam and beloved hero Superman. And with the upcoming release of the villain’s solo film, many believe that possibility is getting closer and closer to directing.

And during an interview on the Collider site, Seven Bucks Production president of production (owned by Dwayne Johnson) Hiram Garcia spoke out on the matter and revealed that the showdown in question would be truly incredible.

In caption, he wrote:

While information about the tale remains withheld, fans already know that Black Adam is the primary antagonist for the hero known as Shazam. In modern times, however, the character has grown into an extremely complex and troubled antihero – becoming one of the most important creations in the DC pantheon.

Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra (“Aguas Rasas”), the film will take place in the same universe as “Shazam!

Johnson (Black Adam), Aldis Hodge (Black Hawk), Quintess Swindell (Cyclone), Noah Centineo (Atom Crusher) and Pierce Brosnan (Doctor Doom).

Bodhi Sabongui, Marwan Kenzari, Sarah Shahi, James Cusati-Moyer and Mo Amer were also cast in undisclosed roles.

The film opens July 29, 2022.
