In an interview with Metro, Martin Freeman claimed to have read the script for the sequel “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”. In addition to praising the plot, the actor also revealed that filming will begin in the coming months.

“I can’t reveal anything other than the fact that this is really happening. Marvel has sworn to us to keep it a secret. I script it. It’s really good, and we’ll be starting filming in the next few months. I’m going to the United States to do it, and I’m really excited to start.

“Wakanda Forever” will be released in nationwide theaters on July 7, 2022.

Remember that star Chadwick Boseman’s legacy will be preserved and his character will not be resized.

Marvel Studios director Kevin Feige has confirmed that there will never be another actor playing T’Challa in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

According to him, filmmaker Ryan Coogler and Marvel Studios are moving full steam ahead with the franchise and will explore the rest of Wakanda, the fictional Marvel land we were first introduced to in the great Marvel franchise.

“A lot of the comics and the first movie are from the world of Wakanda. Wakanda is a place to explore more with characters and different subcultures. It was always and initially the main objective of the following story, ”he said.

He added:

“We’re not going to have a Chadwick in CGI and we’re not going to rework T’Challa. Ryan Coogler is working really hard right now on the script with all the respect, love and genius he has, which gives us great comfort. So it has always been about promoting the mythology and inspiration of Wakanda. There is also the task of honoring and respecting the learning and continuing teachings of Chad, ”he concluded.

In October of last year, Ryan Coogler signed the contract to return as a writer and director, following his stellar entry into the MCU with the film which grossed over $ 1.3 billion worldwide.

The film also became the first of its superhero genre to be nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars.
