‘Black Panther 2’: Letitia Wright would rather NOT RETURN to MCU than get vaccinated, website reveals

The production of the long-awaited sequel ‘Black Panther 2 – Wakanda Forever’ is experiencing some setbacks and the possibility of further filming delays with the anti-vaccine positioning of actress Letitia Wright.

The actress was injured on the set and was considered a minor injury, but it was recently revealed that she caused health issues and production has been put on hold until 2022.

Now the production faces more problems. According to Giant Freakin Robot, Wright doesn’t want to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe because he doesn’t want to receive the vaccine.

If Letitia is not vaccinated, she cannot return to work for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as the studio is forcing all of its employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19 on their film sets. If the actress has not been vaccinated and does not want to be vaccinated, she may not return to complete her scenes in ‘Black Panther 2’, putting the project in jeopardy.

She would not be the first actress to leave production in 2021 due to increased vaccination mandates. While it’s still not a big deal for the MCU, it’s happening a lot in Hollywood.

On Twitter, some netizens expressed their dissatisfaction with the fact that the actress has not yet been vaccinated against Covid-19, which would prevent her from entering American soil – directly affecting the production schedule. of the movie.

On the social network, Internet users appealed to Marvel Studios, demanding the resignation of the actress, as well as the reprogramming of the hero T’Challa.

Check out some of the reactions:

“Resize her and T’Challa and move on.” ”

“At this point, temporarily pause the film. Use the multiverse to introduce a ‘new’ Shuri and maybe a new T’Chall or something like that.

“Chadwick’s brother literally gave people his blessing to postpone T’Challa. Marvel does all this nonsense for fear of losing money. They will already lose money anyway! Black Panther does not always have a future for Black Panther “.

Chadwick’s brother literally gave people his blessing to recast T’Challa. Marvel is doing all this nonsense because they are afraid of losing money. They’re going to lose money anyway! Black Panther has no way to move forward without Black Panther.

“Yeah. I know that wasn’t popular opinion back then and it’s still a very sensitive, emotionally-sensitive topic for everyone – the family, the fans, the cast and the crew. But I think so. always that at some point we will see another actor playing the role of T’Challa.

Yeah. I knew that was not popular opinion at the time and it is still an emotionally sensitive issue for everyone; family, fans, and cast / crew, but at some point I think we’ll see another actor step in as T’Challa. https://t.co/bbouMPMNPw

Recalling that the filming of the sequence should resume in early 2022.

Wright was injured on the Boston set earlier this year in a scene involving equipment. Coogler and his team have spent the past two months filming just about every scene in the film that doesn’t require his presence. The sudden death of Chadwick Boseman last year elevated Wright’s position in the franchise, and she will be the leader.

The film’s release has been postponed from July 8, 2022 until November 11, 2022.

Check out the list of upcoming studio debuts:

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness: March 25, 2022 to May 6, 2022. Thor: Love and Thunder: May 6, 2022 to July 8, 2022. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever: July 8, 2022 to November 11, 2022. The Wonders : from November 11, 2022 to February 17, 2023. Ant-man and the wasp: Quantumanie: from February 17, 2023 to July 28, 2023. UNTITLED FILM: deleted from the program UNTITLED FILM: deleted from the program UNTITLED FILM: November November 10, 2023 to November 3, 2023.

Recalling that Production Weekly leaked the synopsis of the film, which puts Atlantis and Namor in the sequence.

“Wakanda and Atlantis are both hidden civilizations with advanced technology and superior military capabilities that have decided to separate themselves from the rest of the world for their own safety and, in a way, out of fear. Wakanda feared that its technology was being abused. Alantis feared that surface dwellers would desecrate the mythical city like they did so many years ago

However, their fears are further heightened when these two nations, once hidden, collide. Wakanda and Atlantis have a surprisingly linked history. Wakanda is the only country in the world to have access to vibranium. However, rumors of his power are spreading around the world, and Namor’s human father has been sent to search for this rare material in Antarctica. The war is about to begin.

Remember that Mexican actor Tenoch Huerta will be Namor.

The film is scheduled to premiere in Brazil on July 7, 2022.

Ryan Coogler returns as director and screenwriter.

“Black Panther” was released in 2018 and was a huge box office success, grossing over $ 1.3 billion worldwide. Plus, it becomes the first superhero film to be nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars.
