Recently, a Twitter page reported that Marvel was looking for “a South Asian male between the ages of 20 and 30 who is available for training, although actors with combat experience are the best choice.”
The character’s description also states that “although he has taken a vow of silence, his eyes tell us that he has been through major conflicts.”
Afterward, WWE fighter Mustafa Ali expressed interest in the role by sharing the post and saying:
“Hello Marvel Studios. I think you are looking for me for ‘Bucket’.

Aside from fighting, Ali is a great acrobat and has already shown he can act, receiving a lot of attention over the past three seasons of SmackDown, a wrestling division that features the biggest names in WWE.
It remains to be seen whether Marvel will invite him to the casting tests.
Earlier, a new report on Production Weekly’s schedule, the long-awaited reboot with Oscar-winning actor Mahershala Ali (“Stars Beyond Time”), already has a date to begin filming.
Reports indicate that filming for the feature film will begin in mid-2022, specifically between July and August, in the city of Atlanta (only confirming production rumors from a few months ago).
Discover the preliminary synopsis of the work:
“As half-human, half-vampire, Eric Brooks (Ali) honed his skills in hunting down the living dead that have long terrorized humanity. A human-vampire hybrid since her tragic birth, Blade has spent her time trying to rid the world of vampires like the one who killed her mother. Over the years, he has mastered his own style of fighting monsters of all kinds.

Delroy Lindo (‘Revenge & Punishment’, ‘Blood Detachment’) is also cast in an unconfirmed role.
As of yet, there is no preview for the feature.
Director Bassam Tariq recently met IndieWire and promised fans his version will pay homage to the original trilogy, starring Wesley Snipes.
“What’s most exciting about the movie we’re making is that there was no canon for ‘Blade‘, as we read the comics and all that,” a- he explained. “Living in the light of day was an established thing, and we know we can’t deny what Wesley Snipes did. A black man created the world of superheroes we’re in, that’s the truth. For me, working with someone as talented and awe-inspiring as Mahershala Ali and screenwriter Stacy Osei-Kuffour, I am very honored to work with these black talents. For me just being with them in the room, listening and learning as I build it all is truly an honor.
Additionally, Marvel Creative Director Kevin Feige has stated that the reboot will last no longer than 18 years.
“I think we direct everything we do to children and adults. I know fans would love to see a ‘Blade’ movie without restrictions, but they don’t. Turns out ‘Deadpool’ has established itself as an R-rated movie before, and changing that proposition wouldn’t do, but that doesn’t mean we’re going to invest that rating in just any movie.
He reinforced that:
“We have never been prevented from telling good stories with lower grades. if we ever go [impedidos], then there can certainly be some discussion about it. But our model is working so far.
The reboot is titled “Blade: The Vampire Slayer” and directly references the early anti-hero comics created in 1973 by screenwriter Marv Wolfman and illustrator Gene Colan.
