The ending of Season 2 of “ The Mandalorian ” featured a post-credits scene showing Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison) taking Bib Forturna’s place as the new Crime King in Tatooine.
For those who don’t remember, Fortuna was Jabba the Hutt’s staunch servant and took over after the boss died in “ Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. ”
And the best part is that the scene marks the start of the Bounty Hunter spinoff series called “The Book of Boba Fett”.
Thanks to Twitter, the official “The Mandalorian” page posted the logo and new details of the upcoming production.
“The Book of Boba Fett”, a new original series, starring Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen, produced by Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni and Robert Rodriguez, in the same timeline as “The Mandalorian”. The debut will take place at Disney + in 2021. “
