When Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison) resurfaced in Season 2 of “The Mandalorian”, many fans expected that how he survived the events of “Star Wars: Return of the Jedi” would be revealed.
However, the question remains unanswered.
For those who don’t remember, Fett fell into Sarlacc’s Pit after Han Solo (Harrison Ford) accidentally detonated his jetpack, causing him to lose control and fall straight into the monster’s mouth.
According to legend, Sarlacc’s victims are digested in 1000 years of suffering, but how did Fett manage to survive?
Apparently the answer will be revealed in “The Boba Fett Book”, as suggested by Morrison in an interview with Rotten Tomatoes.
“I can’t say too much about the plot, but let’s take a look at Fett’s past and where it came from since he appeared in ‘Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back’ until his return in “The Mandalorian.” Fans insist he was a bit on the side. Fortuna was Jabba the Hutt’s staunch servant and took office after the leader’s death in Return of the Jedi.
