“Casa Gucci”: Film starring Lady Gaga and Adam Driver opens with 70% approval on RT; Check out the reviews!

“Casa Gucci” is hitting theaters around the world soon and, despite expectations, appears to have divided international reviews.

The feature debuted with a 70% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with a rating of 5.90 / 10 based on 23 reviews so far. On Metacritic, the film debuted with a score of 63/100, based on 28 reviews.

While praising the play of the main actors, especially Lady Gaga and Jared Leto, pundits have punctuated flaws in the direction of Ridley Scott and the overloaded script.

“Casa Gucci” is inspired by the shocking true story of the family empire behind Italian fashion house Gucci. Spanning three decades of love, betrayal, decay, revenge, and ultimately murder, we see what a name means, what it matters, and how far a family must stay in control.

Also on the bill are Adam Driver, Jeremy Irons, Jared Leto, Al Pacino, Salma Hayek, Jack Huston and Reeve Carney.

The plot is adapted from the non-fiction novel “The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder Madness, Glamor, and Greed”.
