“Cavaleiro da Lua”: the actress of “Altered Carbon” is cited for a leading role in the series

According to The Ronin, actress Dina Shihabi (“Altered Carbon”) is being tipped for a lead role in the Marvel series in partnership with Disney +.

For now, no details have been revealed on the role and at what stage the negotiations are.

However, it was said that the character would have great significance in the plot with the protagonist played by Oscar Isaac.

For those who don’t know her, she played Annabel Lee in season 2 of ‘Altered Crabon’. Formerly known as Dig 301, Lee is a disabled artificial intelligence programmed to aid human archaeologists.

If Shihabi’s casting is confirmed, this will be her second appearance in a Marvel production.

In 2018, she had a small role in two episodes of the 3rd season of ‘Daredevil’.

A few days ago, the official @MarvelStudios Twitter page shared a new photo posted by Isaac, in which the production’s early concept art is revealed.

The production also includes May Calamawy (‘Ramy’) and Ethan Hawke (‘The Predestined’) in the cast.

Aaron Moorhead and Justin Benson (“Synchronic”) will direct the series, based on screenplays written by Jeremy Slate (“Umbrella Academy”).
