Since Chadwick Boseman’s tragic death from colon cancer last year, Marvel has kept the fate of T’Challa the Black Panther a secret.
Either way, Kevin Feige and the other studio representatives assured that the character will not be recast out of respect for Chadwick’s memory.
However, Chawick’s brother Derrick Boseman told TMZ the star would like someone else to take his place as the hero for the benefit of the story.
For Derrick, his brother knew the influence and representative strength of T’Challa and believed that the character’s legacy was far greater than who was wearing his costume.
Derrick argued that if Marvel kills T’Challa instead of putting a new actor in the role, it will ease the burden the King of Wakanda has brought to the world.
The star’s brother spoke out after hearing about a campaign in which fans are calling for T’Challa to be postponed, which he believes is natural.

In part of the text, the creator of the document makes an emotional appeal by saying:
This is a call to Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, Co-President Louis D’Esposito and Writer / Director Ryan Coogler to reconsider the decision to reframe T’Challa’s role in the ‘Black Panther’ franchise. If Marvel Studios removes T’Challa would be to the detriment of the audiences (especially boys and black men) who admire him. This also includes the millions of fans who have been inspired by the character.
He keeps on:
“Not giving a makeover could stifle the opportunity to increase the legacy of one of the most popular black superheroes. The worst way to kill a legend is to stop telling his story.
Recalling that the film’s release has been postponed from July 8, 2022 to November 11, 2022.
Previously, Production Weekly leaked the synopsis for the feature, which puts Atlantis and Namor in sequence.
“Wakanda and Atlantis are both hidden civilizations with advanced technology and superior military capabilities that have decided to separate themselves from the rest of the world for their own safety and, in a way, out of fear. Wakanda feared that its technology was being abused. Alantis feared that surface dwellers would desecrate the mythical city like they did so many years ago
However, their fears are further heightened when these two nations, once hidden, collide. Wakanda and Atlantis have a surprisingly linked history. Wakanda is the only country in the world to have access to vibranium. However, rumors of his power are spreading around the world, and Namor’s human father has been sent to search for this rare material in Antarctica. The war is about to begin.
Tenoch Huerta will be Namor.
Ryan Coogler returns as director and screenwriter.
“Black Panther” was released in 2018 and was a huge box office success, grossing over $ 1.3 billion worldwide. Plus, it becomes the first superhero film to be nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars.
