A few weeks ago it was confirmed that the cult classic “Christine – The Killer Car” will be getting a remake and will feature Bryan Fuller (“Hannibal”) in the director’s chair, along with Jason Blum and Sony Pictures in charge. from production. .

Now, in an interview with CinemaBlend, Blum has commented on the first adaptation of Stephen King’s novel for the big screen, talking about the differences and taking the opportunity to clarify that the new version is still far from being released.

Directed by Carpenter, the 1983 feature film revolved around Arnie Cunningham, a shy guy who buys the shell of a red 1957 Plymouth Fury car and feverishly devotes himself to its restoration.
