‘Christmas Chronicles’: Kurt Russell wants Santa Claus to be the last role of his career

In an interview with Yahoo Entertainment, director Chris Columbus revealed that actor Kurt Russell wanted his role as Santa Claus in the “Christmas Chronicles” franchise to be the last of his career.

“[Kurt] said to me: “I want this to be the last role I will play.” He wants to come back [em novas sequências]. Deep in his soul, he is very committed to this role. And that means spending eight months growing a beard and working on the script every night with me before shooting. It’s an intense commitment. And he takes it seriously.

Netflix recently officially released the sequel ‘Christmas Chronicles 2’.
