“City on a Hill”: Kevin Bacon and Aldis Hodge are back in the Season 2 trailer; Check!

Showtime recently released the trailer for the second season of its acclaimed “City on a Hill” series.

The new episodes will be released on March 28.

The series stars Aldis Hodge, Kevin Bacon, Jonathan Tucker, Mark O’Brien, Jill Hennessy, Lauren E. Banks, Amanda Clayton, Kevin Chapman, Jere Shea and Sarah Shahi.

The production takes place in the early 1990s in Boston and revolves around criminals being encouraged by local power agencies where corruption and racism were the norm. Here, assistant defense attorney Decourcy Ward (Hodge) arrives from Brooklyn and forms an unexpected alliance with corrupt FBI veteran Jackie Rohr (Bacon). Together, they hunt a family of thieves from Charlestown in an exponentially growing case that subverts the entire Boston criminal system.

Chuck MacLean created and produced the series alongside showrunner Tom Fontana.
