The text below contains SPOILERS!

During the 3rd season of the “Cobra Kai” course, John Kreese (Martin Kove) took over the dojo that gives the series its title after the students of Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) turned against him.

In an attempt to put an end to his former sensei’s plans, Johnny joins forces with Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) to defeat their common enemy, who ends up being humiliated in a fight against the two.

However, the last episode of Season 3 ends with Kreese looking at a photo from his wartime while calling out a mysterious character.

While the identity of this character is unknown, fans should remember that Kreese once used someone much worse than him to guard Cobra Kai, as seen in ‘Karate Kid 3’ (1989).

This is none other than Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith), who fought alongside Kreese in the Vietnam War and was the true founder of Cobra Kai.

Enjoy watching:

In the 3rd film of the franchise, Silver and Kreese attempt to end Miyagi’s (Pat Morita) honor by pushing LaRusso to join them, as Daniel himself explains in a Season 2 episode of ‘Cobra. Kai ‘.

As the current season explores Kreese’s past in Vietnam and how he was forced to fight in a tournament to the death, it appears one of his battalion colleagues was Silver, who could end up returning to the cycle. next.

The villain is not remembered since appearing in the 1989 film, and now would be a perfect time to reintroduce him to the franchise for a possible rematch.

Additionally, Jon Hurwitz, one of the creators of ‘Cobra Kai’ told CinemaBlend that:

“At our writers’ table, we spoke literally about every character that appeared in the franchise. […] From the start, we’ve always envisioned the series as a legacy of Miyagi’s lessons. Anything related to it can be introduced sooner or later. “

Considering that Silver still builds up hatred for his loss to Miyagi and Daniel-San, this decades-long dormant rivalry may begin to resurface now that a new karate tournament will be played in All Valley.

What do you think of the idea?

Recalling that the 3rd season of ‘Cobra Kai’ is now available on Netflix.

The new cycle will deepen the consequences of the accident suffered by Miguel, bringing Johnny Lawrence back to his role of mentor of the young karateka, while helping him to resume his steps.

Daniel-San, meanwhile, will face a major identity crisis due to the chaotic consequences of his decision to return to karate, which ends up alienating him from his family and also from the company itself.

COBRA KAI takes place 30 years after the 1984 All Valley tournament, with the inevitable conflict between Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) continuing.

In season three, they are all stunned after the violent brawl between the two dojos at school, which left Miguel seriously injured. As Daniel revisits the past for answers and Johnny seeks redemption, Kreese further manipulates his vulnerable students with his ideas of domination. The soul of the valley is at stake, as is the fate of all students and all peoples.

Along with Ralph Macchio and William Zabka, the cast includes Courtney Henggeler, Xolo Maridueña, Tanner Buchanan, Mary Mouser and Jacob Bertrand.

So what do you think you have in store for the new episodes?

During an interview for the comic book, William Zabka was asked the same question.

In response, Johnny Lawrence’s interpreter said:

“The end of season 2 was like a car crash in which we were all injured, bar none. There are a lot of parts to put together and heal wounds … I’ve heard of some fan theories and some of them are good, but they don’t even come close to what’s to come. Good attempts. I define season 3 as a fireworks show or explosion, but is it good or bad? I think it incorporates the best of the first two.

He also made a mystery about the possible return of Ali Mills (Elisabeth Shue) by commenting on the season 2 finale scene:

“Well what I can tell you is nothing is what it seems. We have seen that Johnny still regrets his breakup with Ali and it is a great piece that was missing and missing in his life. She’s the love that escaped and he’d kinda like to reconnect [com ela]. But the series is full of surprises.

Finally, he commented on the renewal of the series for the 4th season.

“It was amazing recording the new episodes and I can’t wait to see the fan reaction. We expected it to be released sooner too, but the world is a mess… What matters is that we are happy to continue working with Netflix. We already have another guaranteed season and it’s a sign that the public is supporting us, I never imagined that would happen. I am very grateful to bring Johnny to life.
