“CODA”: “Locke & Key” Dramedia Actress Gets Official Trailer & Release Date!

Apple TV + recently released the official trailer for “CODA”, the teen drama starring Emilia Jones (“Locke & Key”).

The film will be released on the streaming platform on August 13.

Gifted with a voice her parents can’t hear, young Ruby is the only hearing member of a deaf family – a CODA, Child of Deaf Adults. Her life consists of interpreting what her parents want to say and working on the family fishing boat every day before school with her father and older brother. However, when Ruby joins the high school choir, she discovers a passion for singing and gets carried away by her duet partner. Encouraged by her enthusiastic mentor to complete the application package to a prestigious music school, Ruby finds herself torn between her family obligations and the pursuit of her own dreams.

Marlee Matlin, Troy Kotsur, Daniel Durant, Ferdia Walsh-Peelo and Eugenio Derbez complete the cast.
