The film stars Emilia Clarke, who has received multiple Emmy nominations for the “Game of Thrones” series.

In the plot, Clarke plays Susan Smith, a young drug addict who dreams of leaving her small mountain village. When Mark Putnam (Jack Huston), a handsome – and married – FBI agent arrives in town to investigate a series of bank robberies and recruits her as an informant, she sees the possibility of a fresh start. Soon the two are involved in a dangerous emotional relationship with serious consequences for both.
Based on Joe Sharkey’s book The Shocking True Story of the First FBI Agent Convicted of Murder, the report is directed by Phillip Noyce (“The Bone Collector“, “Salt“).
