Daria Nicolodi, actress and co-writer of classic ‘Suspiria’, dies at 70

Actress and screenwriter Daria Nicolodi, mother of Asia Argento and ex-wife of horror master Dario Argento, has died at the age of 70.

According to Bloody Disgusting, the artist died in Rome, Italy.

Born on June 19, 1950, Daria Nicolodi has appeared in several classic Italian horror films directed by her ex-husband, including ‘Prelude To Kill’, ‘Hell’s Mansion’, ‘Tenebrae’, ‘Phenomena’ and ‘Terror at the Opera “.

In 1977, she co-wrote the classic “Suspiria” with Dario Argento, in addition to contributing to the screenplay for “A Mansão do Inferno” and, later, “The Black Cat”, directed by Luigi Cozzi.
