‘Deadpool 3’ would be road trip style movie with Wolverine, says Ryan Reynolds

Before Fox was acquired by Disney, studio executives were already working on a new movie for “Deadpool 3″ with the creative team.

And it looks like the footage would bring in a ‘trip wheel’ narrative between the Chatty Mercenary and Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), but now audiences will never see that happen.

The information was revealed by Ryan Reynolds himself on his Twitter profile.

While promoting a Bell Let’s Talk campaign on mental health care, the star clarified the matter:

“It is very important to have open and honest conversations about mental health. You can tell the difference. If that’s not enough, know that before Disney buys Fox, ‘Deadpool 3’ would be like a road trip between Deadpool and Logan. Like the ‘Rashomon’ [filme clássico dirigido pelo japonês Akira Kurosawa]. Really.”

Having open, honest, and healthy discussions about mental health is essential. By retweeting #BellLetsTalk, you can make a difference. In case that wasn’t enough, before Disney bought Fox, Deadpool 3 was going to be a road trip between Deadpool and Logan. Rashomon style. For real.

Speaking of which, Marvel Studios director Kevin Feige has confirmed that the next ‘Deadpool’ movie will be set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and will be rated as ‘Rated-R’ [para maiores de 18 anos].

Feige further confirmed that Reynolds was helping oversee the script.

“It will be rated as Rated-R and we are currently working on a script, and Ryan is overseeing the script. We are not going to tour this year. Ryan is a very busy and very successful actor. We’ve already announced a number of things we need to do now, but it’s exciting that it’s started. Again, a very different type of character in the MCU, and Ryan is a force of nature, which is just amazing to see him bring that character to life, ”he said.

The production will be Mercenário Tagarela’s debut with Disney and that moves fans a lot, as there are concerns that the politically incorrect essence of the character will be relaxed from now on. So we’ve separated some points that we really want to see in Deadpool 3. Check it out!

Do not restart the franchise

Launched at FOX, the Deadpool franchise has established itself as one of the most successful sagas for over 18 years in movie history. Filled with references and jokes about the X-Men universe, the first two films were very striking. Now owned by Disney, I hope everything that has happened so far is not erased or ignored, but has continued and developed under the tutelage of the House of Mickey.

Be part of the MCU

Okay, being a Marvel character and being in a Disney produced movie seems to indicate that the adventures of Deadpool are part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, as you may remember, Sony has been fighting for years to say that Venom is part of the MCU. And let’s face it, nothing in the movie says so. Well, let Disney squeeze Deadpool 3 into the MCU timeline in the funniest way possible instead of releasing the feature on the Searchlight tag or something like that.

Bob

In the comics, Deadpool’s best friend – so to speak – is a stunned, frustrated, and little esteemed HIDRA agent named Bob. He does a really quick tip in the first movie as one of Francis’s (Ed Skrein) generic henchmen, but it would be fantastic if he now appeared in the HIDRA uniform and interacted more with the DP.

X-Force

One of the main reasons for not wanting the franchise reboot is precisely because Deadpool 2 left a wonderful hook for the X-Force adaptation. The fun, diverse, non-sexist group, as Deadpool himself said, have absurd potential for on-screen development and it would be amazing to see that in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Don’t be a movie ONLY in humor

Despite being known for her distraught humor and politically incorrect jokes every second, the Deadpool franchise has managed to make a very interesting dramatic development over the past four years. One of the concerns of this trip to Disney is that it will turn the film into a humorous adventure without the slightest dramatic load, like they did with Spider-Man, for example.

Make fun of getting to Disney

Marked by his references to various universes and his fourth wall breaks, Deadpool MUST just poke fun at Disney’s purchase of FOX and the entertainment monopoly they’ve formed. And the ideal would be for him to make references or heavy jokes, in terms of having a character from the house, such as Donald Duck, in the best A Snare For Roger Rabbit style, or something like that. This is the perfect opportunity for him to completely lose the line.

Interaction with characters and MCU settings

The thrill of having Deadpool at Disney is being able to explore character interactions and settings from other comic-based movies. Have you ever thought Deadpool lost that limitation of having to act only in an urban environment and go to space? Face off against a celestial of the species Ego (Kurt Russell), like it happened in the comics? Eat chimichangas in the Stark Tower? Riding a Pegasus on the New Asgard? The sky is no longer the limit.

Facing the coach

The trainer will take on Black Widow in his solo film which will debut between 2020 and 2021, we hope. However, he’s one of Deadpool’s classic villains. How does the coach manage to replicate the opponent’s fighting style and usually get involved in some very rotten serves – the villain foots the bill too, right? – it would be amazing if they could meet on the big screen at some point.

Show Deadpool in Avengers: Endgame

The portals scene in Avengers: Endgame was theaters biggest cheesy orgasm of 2019. Until Howard, Duck seemed to beat the ET devil. Would it be cool if the movie showed a flashback of Deadpool inserted into that context or him looking at it in a newspaper and wondering why he wasn’t invited? It could even be the kick-off for an adaptation of Deadpool trying to get into the Avengers. Who knows?

Spider Man

Can we be honest here? I think everyone will ignore the suggestions in this text if Marvel decides to join Deadpool with Spider-Man. Let’s face it, this is what everyone wants. The relationship between the two in the comics is wonderfully fun, since Deadpool is practically in love with Cabeça de Teia, who avoids teaming up with DP as much as possible because, well … because he’s a smelly suitcase. and is not silent, in addition to having homicidal tendencies, of course. Seeing the combination of this silly mischief with Tom Holland’s almost Spider-Man purity would be enough to make a lot of people smile.
