“Many surprises await in this bloody battle against evil that captures the humor, terror and spirit of the franchise. Take part in the action at memorable locations, including the infamous Forest Cabin, and discover over 25 types of weapons. “

Bruce Campbell will return as the iconic Ash.

The game will also feature the return of Dana DeLorenzo (Kelly Maxwell, from the series ‘Ash vs. Evil Dead’), Marcus Gilbert (Arthur, from ‘A Hallucinating Night 3’) and Richard DeManincor (Scotty, from the original. ‘The Death of Demon’).

Containing both co-op and PvP modes, the game will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC in 2021.

Bruce Campbell recently revealed new details on the highly anticipated “Evil Dead Rise,” stating that the new film will feature a female character.

“The main element of the franchise has always been about having ordinary people facing an uncontrollable evil force. It’s a scary concept. They are not competent people, they are not soldiers. And in this new movie, it will be the same. We will have a heroine who will try to save her family.

He adds: “It will be a very modern story; an urban “Demon Death”. We hope to film it next year.

Recalling that the remake and the first two films of the franchise took place in a cabin in the middle of a forest in Tennessee, but the new film will change that concept.

Recently, Bruce Campbell, the star of the originals, revealed to 1428 Elm that ‘Evil Dead Rise’ will take place in an urban setting, and the horror scenes will be spread across an entire city.

“Evil Dead Rise” will feature grotesque scenes on a scale fans have never seen. Forget the cabin in the forest and close the doors of your houses because the living dead will invade the streets, ”he said.

Previously, Bloody Disgusting previously announced that the sequel should have a building or a skyscraper as the main storyline, which would be a direct reference to the new title.

Unfortunately, Campbell has also confirmed that Ash will not be returning for the new film, as new protagonists will be added.

“The franchise has to stand on its own without depending on either character, you know? What is good is liberating. We can put in different heroes and heroines now, it will be a more dynamic plot… We just want to keep the series up to date, and not save what was in the past. The mantra of the franchise is that our heroes are just ordinary people, they can be anyone. “

According to Empire, Cronin was selected by Sam Raimi himself, creator of the original films.

On his Twitter profile, Cronin said he was honored to have the opportunity to work with Raimi, producer Robert Tapert and Campbell himself.
