Due to the strong impact the COVID pandemic continues to have on the industry, Disney has announced several changes to its first schedule. Once again, “Death on the Nile”, an adaptation of Agatha Christie’s book which will follow the film “Murder on the Orient Express”, has had its release postponed.
The feature film’s premiere is now only scheduled for February 11, 2022.

Kenneth Branagh returns as Detective Hercule Poirot, and Tom Bateman also returns as Goat.

Michael Green, responsible for the adaptation of “Expresso no Oriente”, returns as screenwriter.
“Death on the Nile” was published in 1937, just three years after “Murder on the Orient Express”.
Agatha Christie’s work was adapted for theaters in 1978, but failed at the box office, grossing just $ 14 million. The adaptation, however, won an Oscar for best costume design.
