According to Deadline, Neil Patrick Harris (“How I Met Your Mother”) will star in the comedy “Uncoupled”, the LGBTQ + series currently in development for Netflix.

The series was created by Darren Star, who previously collaborated with the streaming service on “Emily in Paris”.

The plot will revolve around Michael (Harris), whose seemingly perfect life turns upside down when her husband unexpectedly leaves after 17 years. Suddenly, Michael is faced with two nightmares: losing the one he believed to be his soul mate and facing a new life as a 40+ gay single in New York City.

In addition to playing the lead role, Harris will also be executive producer on the project, as will Star and co-creator Jeffrey Richman (“Modern Family”).

Filming is scheduled to begin in 2021 in New York.

New information should be published soon.
