‘Demon Slayer’ overtakes ‘Titanic’ and ‘Spirited Away’ to become BIGGEST box office in Japanese history

Success! The animation “Demon Slayer The Movie: Mugen Train” topped the collection of “Titanic” and “Spirited Away” at the Japanese box office, becoming the largest collection in the history of the country.

The animated film became a tsunami in the entertainment world in 2020 and already totals $ 313.7 million in Japan.

As such, the film topped the box office of so far leader, “ Spirited Away, ” which raised $ 295.5 million in 2001.

Japan’s third place is the classic “Titanic” by James Cameron, which raised $ 251 million in 1997.

The film is directed by Haruo Sotozaki.

Enmu is responsible for killing Tanjirou Kamado to gain his post. Tanjirou, Zenitsu, and Inosuke buy tickets for the Infinity Train in search of Rengoku, the Pillar of Flame.

The cast includes the voices of Abby Trott, Bryce Papenbrook, Zach Aguilar, Natsuki Hanae and Yoshitsugu Matsuoka.

The anime is yet to be released in Brazil.
