DGA Awards 2021: ‘WandaVision’ and ‘The Mandalorian’ featured in television award categories

The nominees in the television categories for the 73rd Director’s Guild of America Awards (DGA Awards) were recently revealed – and brought some very interesting surprises.

The recently completed ‘WandaVision’ was also recalled in the mini-series or TV movie section, vying for the statuette with ‘Little Fires Everywhere’, ‘Hamilton’ and ‘The Queen’s Gambit’. Jason Bateman won a nomination for his work on “Ozark,” while Jon Favreau is competing in the Best Directing in a Drama Series and Best Reality Directing categories (for “The Mandalorian” and “The Chef Show”, respectively) .
