DGA Awards 2021: ‘WandaVision’ and ‘The Mandalorian’ featured in television award categories

The nominees in the television categories for the 73rd Director’s Guild of America Awards (DGA Awards) were recently revealed – and brought some very interesting surprises.

Ted Lasso, ” which won three figures from the 2021 Critics’ Choice Awards, won two nominations for directors Zach Braff and MJ Delaney in the comedy categories, competing with Erin O’Malley and Jeff Schaffer of “ Curb Your Enthusiasm ”.

The recently completed ‘WandaVision’ was also recalled in the mini-series or TV movie section, vying for the statuette with ‘Little Fires Everywhere’, ‘Hamilton’ and ‘The Queen’s Gambit’. Jason Bateman won a nomination for his work on “Ozark,” while Jon Favreau is competing in the Best Directing in a Drama Series and Best Reality Directing categories (for “The Mandalorian” and “The Chef Show”, respectively) .

The winners will be announced on April 10.
