In an interview with Bloomberg, Bob Chapek, CEO of Disney, revealed that the launch of “Black Widow” would be decided “at the last minute” due to the inconsistencies in the market caused by the COVID pandemic.

“Our situation and our conditions are constantly changing. A few weeks ago, theaters in New York and Los Angeles weren’t open. Now all of a sudden they are working. We are waiting to see the response from moviegoers to these reopenings. We will remain flexible. We will decide at the last minute on how to release the film, be it “Black Widow” or any other title. “

For now, the film is set to open in theaters ONLY in the United States on May 7. In Brazil, production is expected to arrive a week earlier, on April 29.

In addition to Scarlett Johansson in the lead role, the cast includes David Harbor, Rachel Weisz, Florence Pugh and OT Fagbenle.

Pursued by a force that won’t stop until it destroys her, Natasha must deal with her spy story and the broken relationships left after becoming an Avenger.
