After several controversies involving Armie Hammer, Disney today announced a new postponement of “Death on the Nile”, an adaptation of Agatha Christie’s book that will follow the film “Murder on the Orient Express”.

Hammer stars in the production alongside Gal Gadot.

The actor was recently charged with cannibalism and is under investigation for rape. The most recent complaint was brought by a young woman named Effie, who claimed the actor raped her for more than four hours.

Additionally, Hammer was abandoned by his agency WME and was “forced to resign” from all of his upcoming projects.

Now Disney is deciding how it will proceed with “ Death on the Nile, ” which has been postponed again and is now slated for February 11, 2022.
