‘Drag me to Hell’ actress to star in new Blumhouse horror

According to Bloody Disgusting, Adriana Barraza (“Drag me to Hell”) will star in Blumhouse’s new horror titled “Bingo”.

The actress will play the protagonist Lupita, a strong and stubborn woman who grew up in a neighborhood full of crime and dangerous people. The character has dedicated his life to cleaning up the neighborhood, creating a community in which residents are proud to feel at home.

The feature film will be part of the anthology “Welcome to the Blumhouse”.

Gigi Saul Guerrero (“Culture Shock”) will be responsible for the direction.

In the Oak Springs neighborhood lives a group of stubborn seniors who refuse to be gentrified. Their leader, Lupita (Bazarra), keeps them together as a community, family. But what they don’t expect is that their beloved region is about to be sold to a force far more powerful than money.

Shane McKenzie and Gigi Saul Guerrero, alongside Perry Blackshear, write the screenplay.
