In Cairo, the capital of Egypt, a Batman cosplayer is doing his part to warn people of care to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus.
Piloting a kind of adapted Batmobile, the man walks through the streets distributing masks to the inhabitants of the capital and explaining the importance of social distance and personal hygiene.
Identified as Bassem Raaof, 28, the hero spoke to Money Control and explained why he decided to dress up as Batman to do the right deed.
“I did this everyday dressed normally, but people just ignored me. Superheroes are very popular here especially Batman because he gets a lot of attention. It didn’t take long for the curious to come and see me … Since then, it has become much easier to warn about the dangers of the virus.
