‘Em Terapia’: Reboot with Uzo Aduba Gets Preview and First Official Image; Check out!

HBO recently announced that the new season of “Em Terapia,” which works as a reboot with Emmy winner Uzo Aduba, has been released.

The new episodes will air from May 2021.

The plot will bring a diverse trio of patients in session with the observant and empathetic Dr. Lawrence (Aduba) as she deals with her own issues.

The cast also includes Anthony Ramos (“Hamilton“), John Benjamin Hickey (“Manhattan“), Quintessa Swindell (“Gatunas”) and Joel Kinnaman (“Altered Carbon”).

The original production, presented between 2008 and 2019, brought Gabriel Byrne as a therapist who treated the most diverse patients while struggling to reconcile his personal dramas. One of the outstanding qualities was the structure of the program, with episodes airing five times a week and focusing on a different client – repeating the process every week, like a psychologist’s official schedule.
