“Escape”: is it good or bad? Stephen King comments on Hulu horror with Sarah Paulson

Recently, Deadline revealed that the horror “Escape,” starring Sarah Paulson, has become the most watched movie in Hulu history.

And the feature also became the streaming service’s most commented original production on Twitter.

Plus, even writer Stephen King was excited about the Aneesh Chaganty-directed production (“Seeking …”).

In his Twitter profile, the horror master was blunt saying that the plot is very stressful and doesn’t waste the audience’s time with antics.

Enjoy watching:

“’RUN’ (Hulu): No weird antics. Just a stressful terror.

RUN (Hulu): No unnecessary bullshit. Just heartbreaking terror.

In addition to directing, Chaganty co-wrote the screenplay alongside Sev Ohanian.

The plot follows a teenage girl who has spent her entire life in isolation with her mother, discovers a terrible secret that had been hidden for many years. Is the daughter going crazy after all this time, or is the mother a psychopath?

In addition to Paulson, the cast also includes Kiera Allen and Pat Healy.
