Richard Madden and Kit Harington played the half-brothers in “Game of Thrones,” but they rarely met backstage.

Due to the directions taken by their characters, they had few moments together during the recordings.

As the duo reunite in “Eternos,” fans wonder what their reunion must have been like.

During an interview with Slash Film, Harington joked, saying:

“Richard Madden is boring, I hate this guy and I wasn’t excited to see him again.”

He then revealed his true reaction upon meeting his friend again.

“He’s a good friend and it was surreal to be in this movie with him, even briefly. Just like our time on ‘Game of Thrones’, we didn’t have a lot of time to brainstorm on’ Eternals “It was so fast that I feel like we’re like boats at night, we cross paths and honk our horns. Maybe we can have a more lasting relationship next time.”

In the adaptation directed by Chloe Zhao, Harington brings Dane Whitman to life, who experiences a love triangle with Sersi (Gemma Chan) and Madden’s character Ikaris.

Despite huge expectations, the upcoming “Eternos” production failed to win international reviews and became Marvel Studios’ lowest-rated film.

After opening with a solid 70% approval, the feature fell into the concept of international experts and even got the “rotten” seal at Rotten Tomatoes. Now production resides with a mere 60% approval, with a score of 6/10 based on 121 reviews. On Metacritic, the work scored 55, indicating “mixed reviews.”

The cast also includes Salma Hayek (Ajak), Kumail Nanjiani (Kingo), Lauren Ridloff (Makkari), Brian Tyree Henry (Phastos), Lia McHugh (Sprite), Gemma Chan (Sersi), Kit Harington (Black Knight), Barry Kheogan (Druig) and Richard Madden (Ikaris).
