Fans of the “ Fast and Furious 10 ” franchise may be excited, as plans for the sequel to the “ Hobbs & Shaw ” spin-off progress.

Justin Lin, director of ‘Fast and Furious 9’, spoke about the future of Luke Hobbs and Deckard Shaw in the main saga.

Played by Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham, the two characters left the main franchise to star in a spin-off directed by David Leitch, which also featured Idris Elba as supervillain Brixton Lore.

In an interview with Deadline, Lin (who has directed five films in the “ Fast and Furious ” franchise) was asked if the duo should look back on the franchise’s final sequels.

“I never really considered them dead, you know?” For me, they are still in this universe; are part of this family. Whatever we do, whenever we talk about the next chapter, I never feel like I have restrictions, so I’m excited about what we’ve built, and as we come to that kind of final chapter of this saga, I think I can’t wait to see again… Any character, in any situation, is up for discussion. ”

Remembering that ‘Fast and Furious 9’ opens on June 25, 2021.
