“Fast and Furious 9”: Jakob and Dominic Toretto face each other in a beautiful IMAX poster; Check!

Thanks to Twitter, IMAX released a beautiful new poster of ‘Fast and Furious 9’, highlighting the impending clash between brothers Jakob (John Cena) and Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel).

Speaking of Jakob, it’s worth remembering that some of the franchise’s antagonists ended up becoming allies of the family that Dom created, like Cop Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson).

The same happened with Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham), who ended up becoming Hobbs’ ally in a spinoff film.

Will it be the same for Jakob?

According to Cena himself, Jakob will be a thick-skinned guy with few words and hardly any redemption because:

“He’s the best villain to ever appear in the franchise. I was invited to the suite with the honor of sharing the Toretto surname and came to be his family’s biggest opponent. People will see that it happens by commanding respect, ”he said at a press conference, according to the comic.

The star also promised that there is a very satisfying answer to why Jakob was never mentioned in the previous films.

However, he didn’t elaborate, so we can’t wait for the mystery to end on June 25.
