In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the director revealed that the third film about Diana’s life will definitely be a modern story and take place today.
“I don’t want to do another period movie, and that’s one of the things I discussed with Warner. I’m not looking forward to putting her back in the past because we wouldn’t be showing where this character is going. So, this is definitely a contemporary story. That’s all I can say. And where we will take the story and how it will be revealed, I’m still not sure, ”he said.
