The comic horror ‘Freaky: In the Body of a Killer’ hit theaters just two weeks ago, but Blumhouse has already confirmed the film’s VOD release date.
The film will premiere on video on demand on December 4.
The short window since its theatrical debut has been due to the coronavirus pandemic, which is still keeping some of America’s major film markets closed.
It should be remembered that “Freaky” has only raised US $ 5.6 million in the country in the past two weeks.
On Rotten Tomatoes, the feature opened with 92% approval, scoring 7.70 / 10 based on 12 reviews to date.

The thriller is directed by Christopher Landon (“Death Makes You Happy”), who also signs the screenplay alongside Michael Kennedy. Jason Blum enters as producer.
Millie Kessler (Kathryn Newton), 17, is just trying to survive in the bloody halls of Blissfield College and the cruelty of the mobs. But when she becomes the new target of Butcher (Vince Vaughn), her town’s infamous serial killer, her final year of school becomes the least of her worries. When the Butcher’s Mystical Dagger causes him to switch bodies with Millie, Millie discovers that she only has 24 hours to get her real body back before being trapped forever in the body of the middle-aged butcher.
