The original HBO series, “Frontiers of the Universe,” will conclude with its third season. The information was confirmed by the executive vice-president of the station, Francesca Orsi.
Through an official statement, the manager shared the news, stating that protagonist Lyra’s journey will be properly completed for fans:
“Getting the epic, complex and cultural work of Phillip Pullman on television has been a huge privilege. We thank our amazing BBC partners and the entire Bad Wolf team, led by the tireless Jane Tranter, for their outstanding work over the first two seasons. We can’t wait to wrap up the trilogy with this final chapter on Lyra’s Journey.

The final season follows the plans of Lord Asriel (James McAvoy) after opening a bridge to a new world, as Lyra (Dafne Keen) follows in her footsteps into the unknown and tries to cope with the death of her best friend.
Created by Jack Thorne, the series was developed in partnership between HBO and BBC One, and is based on the literary saga written by Philip Pullman.
Lyra Belacqua is an orphan, she lives in a world in which people are directly linked to a demon, which can be any type of animal. Created by professors at the University of Jordan, it witnesses a revelation that can change everything. However, his life is catapulted when he meets the beautiful and mysterious Mrs. Coulter.
The cast also includes Ruth Wilson, Clarke Peters and Lin-Manuel Miranda.
