Gal Gadot to star as Evil Queen in ‘Snow White’ live-action remake

According to Screen Rant, Disney’s live-action “Snow White” has found its evil queen.

Actress Gal Gadot, who will also play “Cleopatra” in theaters, is in final negotiations to play the villain.

Marc Webb (‘The Spectacular Spider-Man’) will direct the project, which will be scripted by Erin Cressida Wilson (‘The Girl on the Train’).

Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (‘The King of the Show’) will write new songs for the live-action.

The classic animation, based on the stories of the Brothers Grimm and released in 1937, follows Snow White, a princess victim of the envy of her evil stepmother. After fleeing into the forest, she finds the cabin of seven dwarves, who work in a mine and come to protect her.
