According to Deadline, famous director George Miller has started filming “Three Thousand Years of Longing”.
In fact, the feature has already completed 1/3 of production and is currently filming in Sydney, Australia, with a hiatus scheduled between the Christmas holidays and the first half of 2021.
Idris Elba and Tilda Swinton are the stars of the project.
This is Miller’s first foray as a director since the award-winning film ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ – and the only stop before returning to the post-apocalyptic universe with the spin-off ‘Furiosa ”.
The story centers on a lonely Briton who decides to go to Istanbul on vacation. There, she finds a bottle containing a little Genie, a wish-granting mystical creature of Arab culture – which gives her the chance to change her life with three commands.
