“Good Sam”: Medical Series Starring Sophia Bush Gets Trailer, Release Date; To verify!

CBS has released the full trailer for the medical drama “Good Sam”, starring Sophia Bush (“Chicago PD”).

Additionally, it was announced that the series will air on January 5th.

The series was created by Katie Wech (“Rizzoli & Isles”) and Jennie Snyder Urman (“Jane the Virgin”), who are also executive producers on the project.

The plot will follow Sam, a talented surgeon who works in the same hospital as his bossy father, Griff, who is impossible to please and has never recognized his talents. Serving as her right arm and always in her shadow, Sam comes to the fore when her father falls into a coma and she takes the helm of the department as chief of surgery. Sam finds his professional and personal space again, however, his world is turned upside down again after Griff wakes up and wants to work again, even if it means being supervised by his daughter.

The cast also includes Jason Isaacs, Edwin Hodge, Skye P. Marshall, and Michael Stahl-David.
