Season 3 of the critically acclaimed animated series “Harley Quinn” starring Kaley Cuoco premiered a few weeks ago and continued its wave of acclaim and commercial success.
Despite rave reviews, production has yet to be officially renewed for the next cycle – but that doesn’t mean co-creator Patrick Schumacker isn’t hoping it will happen soon.
“We’re very hopeful,” he told The Wrap. “We feel really good. We have hope.
Schumacker continues: “It seems like people are enjoying the show. We don’t know, but we feel by the energy of the executives and people who circulate in the program that it does them good. I feel that [a série] has a solid fanbase and I don’t think DC has any other shows like this. So if ours ran out it would leave a huge hole.
Remember that the animation is available on HBO Max.

Created by Paul Dini and Bruce Timm, the series is based on DC Comics.
The plot follows the adventures of Harley Quinn after breaking up with the Joker and starting to work alone. With the help of Poison Ivy and a ragtag cast of rejected DCs, she tries to earn a place at the biggest table of villains: the Legion of Doom.
The production also includes the voices of Lake Bell, Alan Tudyk, Tony Hale, Ron Funches, Jason Alexander and JB Smoove.
